Project Brief
I was tasked with creating a brochure and advertising elements for Georgia O'Keeffe’s: Living Modern Exhibition called art, image, style. The brochure gives an overview of O'Keefe's life and how she has become successful through art and fashion. After the design of the brochure, I created a Facebook page consisting of different advertising elements such as information ads that showcase different clothing and jewelry that O'Keeffe had created for herself and others. Thought Process
While creating the design, I wanted to keep a consistent circular style. When viewing the brochure from the front pages, the two panels connect together. When either page of the brochure is opened, the inner circle also lines up with either part of the outer design. I chose darker muted colors to symbolize the isolated lifestyle O'Keefe lived while up in the mountains by herself. For the inside I choose to use bright and vibrant colors that convey the expression and mood her famous paintings communicated.
