Project Brief
I was tasked with picking three themed artists or people who influenced me. I chose three street artists (Shepard Fairey, Bansky, and JR), in which I created a magazine around them called Art in the Streets. Each artists has their own section in the magazine that talks about who they are, what they do, and who they influence.
Thought Process
For the creation of this magazine I designed my own grid system which had not only vertical and horizontal gridlines but diagonals as well. I wanted to capture the feeling of organized chaos. Many of the pages also contain collages of the artists work to immerse the reader in the scenery that often encompasses the medium of street art.
